For some people, making the flight becomes commonplace. But there are also people who are reluctant to make flights for various reasons, such as fear of heights, worry about the plane crashed, and so forth.
Speaking of an accident, technically a person is actually safer on a flight than in an ordinary car.
Quoted from Therichest.com on Wednesday (8/3/2017), a Reddit user opened a forum of exchange with pilots and cabin crew to unlock the secrets of a flight rarely known to audiences.
Here are some pilot confessions that might make someone reluctant and think again before flying:

1. Semena-Mena Treatment of Luggage

Luggage in the airplane cabin (Source Liputan6.com)

When entering the plane, passengers expect their luggage to be treated well.
Apparently not always the case. In general, luggage officers do not care about the way passengers' luggage goes into the aircraft's cargo space.
They had to keep more than 100 suitcases in the room, but also had to be packed in order to be solid.
The words "Fragile, Handle With Care" are also not very impactful. Likewise with a suitcase that should not be inverted with the patch "This Side Up". There was no guarantee that the suitcase was never reversed.
A little bit of advice, like writing on a suitcase, "I love the luggage service clerk" to get better treatment.

2. Dirty Headset

Technically speaking, it is safer to be on a flight
than in an ordinary car, but one can be reluctant
to board a plane. (Source therichest.com)

Think again if you want to watch the impressions during the flight or anything that involves the headsets that are shared by the cabin crew.
In commercial flights, the headsets that were distributed to passengers for entertainment during the flight were never cleared, although later distributed again in neat packages.
In fact, the headset is lowered after flight completion, then "cleaned" in a way that is not clearly known, then repacked.

3. Dirty Water in Toilets

The toilet now feels narrower. What caused it?

Should not drink water from an aircraft toilet shower.
In fact, the extreme again, do not wash hands using tap water in the toilet plane.
The water tank is indeed cleaned as part of a fixed treatment, but there are some parasites that then become immune to germicidal cleaning agents.
Pay attention to these instructions: when entering the plane, observe well the outside of the plane. If the paint is dull, it becomes a clue about the state of the plane.
Skydrol's hydraulic fluid slips away everything. If there is paint peeling, most likely due to Skydrol leak.
Imagine if a leak occurs while flying high in the sky.

4. Blanket and Unclean Pillow

Like headsets, blankets and pillows are also not cleaned, just folded back and repacked for later put in containers while waiting for the next flight.
So, passengers actually put their heads on the same pillow that passengers used before. Similarly, blankets are likely to blanket the previous passengers.
A former Southwest flight cabin crew admitted that the 'fresh' cushions she saw only existed during the initial flight in the home town of flight. The other crew said the same thing about the blankets.

5. Pilot Asleep During Flight

Maybe this is already known. Not infrequently pilot
asleep while sitting in front of the control plane.

About half the number of pilots claimed to have fallen asleep
and a third claimed to have caught his partner sleeping soundly.
 Flights rely on autopilot systems.
Actually it was not a big deal, but, among the 500 pilots in a poll, about 43 percent admitted that their ability was interrupted at least once in the last 6 months due to fatigue.
About 84 percent said their ability was interrupted more than once in the past 6 months.
Moreover, about half of the respondents said that pilot fatigue became the greatest threat of aviation safety, about 3 times greater than other risks.

6. Toilet Doors Can Be Opened From Outer

Technically speaking, it is actually safer to be in flight
than in an ordinary car, but one can be reluctant to board a plane.

As long as you use the toilet during flight, others may break through if they intend.
Of course flight toilets can indeed be locked from the inside, but can be opened from the outside.
Behind the words "No Smoking" there is a key mechanism. If the writing board is suspended and the key is shifted, the door can be opened without any problems.
It may be useful to overcome if any child is locked up

7. No Drinking Water

Technically speaking, it is actually safer to be in flight
than in an ordinary car, but one can be reluctant to board a plane.
                                      (Source therichest.com)

Do not try to make tea, coffee, or anything else in the flight because the drinking water in the plane is not clean.
The shelter tanks have never been cleaned and some airplanes exist that are over 60 years old. Daki in the tank can be as thick as a few centimeters.
If the water does not come from bottles, do not drink. Dirty sewers and portable drinking water channels are very close and sometimes taken care of by one same officer at a time.
Although not always the case, not infrequently there are people who get sick after the flight only because germs that are not realized have entered the body as long as the passenger was in the plane.

8. Turbulence

The corners of a box collect pressure and can lead to
failure due to structural fatigue ( Source Liputan6.com )

Maybe this is not too dampening the spirit to do the flight, but comfortable to know, except for those who are easily anxious or the first time to do the penerbaban.
More turbulent air is caused by rising temperatures at ground level. During the day, the air is hotter than in the morning, making it more likely to experience flight shocks. Heavy rain is also more likely to occur during the day.
If possible, choose the chair as soon as possible. The most shaken area on the plane is at the rear.

9. No Baby Security Guarantee

Take note of the following before taking the baby on a plane
                                          ( Source Liputan6.com )

Probably not too worried about taking a child on a short-haul flight, but think again when carrying him on a long flight.
Or, take no risk at all, whether the flight is near or far.
Flight with baby can be very dangerous. There are various things that can happen, such as pounding, loss of speed, or the like so that the parent loses his child's grip and he can be thrown.

10. Treatment of Pets

Technically speaking, it is actually safer to be in flight
than in an ordinary car, but one can be reluctant
to board a plane. (Source therichest.com)

The airlines are doing their best for passengers, but not so with the pets they bring with them.
True, comfort is also sought for pet animals during flight, but the effort is more limited and can only be taken for granted, such as noise on the runway.
Aviation fuel fenders are also required to use earplugs on the runway. So, imagine the ears of a dog that is much more sensitive than humans and must hear all the noise.

11. No Pattern Cleaned

Technically speaking, it is actually safer to be in flight
than in an ordinary car, but one can be reluctant to board a plane.
                                       (Source therichest.com)

In addition to toilets, head devices, blankets, and pillows, it is not
always cleaned placemats. Even the chair back button was not wiped.                            That is, it is not all that is in an airplane can be cleaned. In fact, do not put nuts in the placemat.
A former Southwest stewardess said he saw more dirty diapers left on placers than on food.
Thus, if we eat food placed on a mat, we may accidentally swallow the traces of baby stools.

12. Human Body Organs in Aviation

Technically speaking, it is actually safer to be in flight
than in an ordinary car, but one can be reluctant to board a plane.

Aviation always determines the number of passengers allowed in flight, but that number does not include "special" passengers, ie bodies or human organs.
When boarding a domestic flight, there is the possibility that the flight carrying bodies or human organs.
In fact, there are people who die when they are away from home.
Their bodies are stored in wooden boxes during flight. To note, container number 3 on Boeing 737-300 aircraft can contain 150 bags of human organs.

13. Pilot Less Experience

Commercial pilot health tests are considered less effective.

In some countries, while on a flight, there is the possibility that the pilot in charge of his flight is a subcontractor who can be regarded as an independent contractor.
In such a pattern, the pilots were not official airline employees while on duty.
Many airlines employ such contractors for the sake of cost savings because subcontractors are not paid as expensive as regular employees.
For example, Delta Airlines in the United States (US) uses subcontracted pilots whose experience and training are not as many major aviation pilots. So, there is no guarantee even for major airlines.
