The incident

"So at
that time it was crowded again, there was a trailer truck whose position would
go up to the bridge, suddenly the strike suddenly resigned. Incidentally, our
members were also managing traffic, rather than retreating to the community
(driver) below, sacrifice his official motorbike to block it. " said Head
of West Kalimantan Police Public Relations Commissioner Donny Charles Go when
contacted by AFP.
Traffic
conditions are heavy. Because of its position on the bridge, the driver behind
the truck has no room to dodge.
"Yes,
because if the people retreat, they get hit, the brakes can't be controlled. Do
you want to run where the residents are? Are they because of the bridge position,"
he said.
Donny said
the truck's brakes were allegedly empty. So, Ipda Tatang made the decision to
stop the truck by propelling the motorbike to a truck tire.
"This
car is heavy, so the bridge position rises. I don't know (suddenly) breaking
down, backing down, the brakes don't exist anymore. I don't know what, he (Ipda
Tatang) screaming also doesn't hear, yes the motorbike is sacrificed," he
said.
The truck
finally managed to stop. "He (Ipda Tatang) is healthy. Only the motorbike
is damaged," he added.
There were
no injuries due to the incident, the truck driver was then taken to the police
station for questioning.
"After
the incident, both the tronton, the driver and the police vehicle were taken to
the police station for questioning," he said.
