RIAU, REQnews - The public was shocked by the discovery of the body of a young man in an oil palm plantation. Surprisingly, on the body was also found a piece of paper containing a mysterious message.
Later it was alleged that the young man named Daniel Putra (19 years old) died by suicide. Before he died, Daniel had left a note that said 'Game Over' and 'ATM Password 741963' on a piece of paper.
His body was later found in Frequent Village, Pelalawan District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau on Tuesday, September 18, 2021.
"The victim was found in the water face down. On the sole of the right foot there is the inscription 'DPG', which stands for the victim's name," said the Head of Criminal Investigation at the Pelalawan Police, AKP Narsy Marsy, quoted Thursday, September 30, 2021.
The results of the police examination found no signs of violence on the victim's body. Daniel allegedly committed suicide due to depression facing family problems.
Even so, the police appealed to the family to be willing to carry out an autopsy on the victim's body to determine the exact cause of Daniel's death.
