Recently there has been a lot of buzz on social media about the discovery of Nikuba "water gasoline" (Niku Banyu) by Aryanto Misel, a resident of Lemahabang Wetan, Lemahabang District, Cirebon Regency, West Java. Here's a quick look at Nikuba.

Aryanto also plans to sell his findings overseas, not to develop them domestically with the government.

What is Nikuba? Launching from the TNI AD website, Nikuba is a tool that has the function of separating hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) contained in water (H2O). The separated hydrogen is then flowed into the combustion chamber of the motorized vehicle engine.

Solopos.com reported, the news about "water gasoline" was circulating on social media and went viral. Especially with the video of a group of TNI members riding motorbikes not fueled by gasoline but water.

Quoted by Solopos.com from Bisnis.com and Gridoto.com, from the video uploaded on the Instagram account @info_tetangga, the TNI motorbike uses water as fuel for the engine's combustion chamber.

Using a machine named Nikuba which stands for Niku Banyu (That's Water) the water is converted into fuel because the machine has an electrolysis generator.

With Nikuba, water (H2O) is split into hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2). The hydrogen gas will enter the vehicle's combustion chamber and become fuel through the air ducts in the carburetor.

However, it must be ensured that the water to be used does not contain heavy metals to be able to run motorized vehicles or pure water.

Gasoline from water was tested on 30 motorbikes belonging to the Siliwangi Military Command III. The motorbike has also been used on the road from Cirebon to Semarang.

Throughout the journey, the Nikuba-fueled motorbike only requires 1 liter of water. The Nikuba machine is also priced at IDR 4.5 million per unit. (Business.com)

The Nikuba machine that converts water into fuel was made by Aryanto Misel, a resident of Lemahabang Wetan, Lemahabang District, Cirebon Regency, West Java.

Aryanto Misel's findings also received comments from an expert at the Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Tri Yuswidjajanto.

Even Yuswidjajanto, has done detailed calculations on the findings of the Nikuba tool. The calculation results say, it is difficult to prove that gasoline from water is able to provide energy to travel even up to tens of kilometers.

"H2O cannot replace gasoline because H2O production is limited by the electricity supply from the battery [battery]," he said.

Moreover, he continued, the maximum capacity of the battery can only produce 0.7 percent of the energy needed by the motor. If H2O production is increased, then the battery will come up short.

So that the motor will strike because there is no power supply to the spark plugs. According to him, H2O can only function as a supplement.

"But in this case I really want to invite a discussion between the inventors of Nikuba to do the calculations together, so that it can be conveyed to the public," he said.
