Strangely enough, Khoirudin (35), a resident of Panjer Hamlet in Tunggalpager Village, Pungging, Mojokerto District, was surprised to find the stinging smell of gasoline in his well.

The stench of gasoline he had felt since 1 month ago. Initially, he ignored the smell.
However, when his residential area experienced a blackout around 5 days ago, he was forced to use well water for daily needs. The reason is that his water pump does not work because it is not electrified.

"Finally I drew water from the well because the lights were off. When I lifted the bucket there were green spots on the surface of the water. I also smelled the smell of stinging gasoline," he told TribunJatim.com.

Seeing this, Khoirudin was increasingly curious. He finally tried to burn the water with matches. He wanted to know what substances the well water contained.

"It turned out that when I burned the fire immediately grabbed and ignited. That's when I knew there was gasoline in it," he explained to TribunJatim.com.

Then, he told the findings to a neighbor who lived near his house. Khoirudun and his neighbor Sholeh tried well water to use motor fuel. Sholeh's Honda Grand motor was used by guinea pigs.

All the contents of the fuel in the motor Sholeh drained. The well water is filled with mineral water bottles which are borne by Khoirudin. After that, the fuel has been depleted, then the well water is poured into Sholeh's motor tank.

"I poured into the tank about 300 ml of water. When the motor was on the starter, it turned out to be lit. Not only that the motor can also run without the slightest obstacle. In fact, the motorbike can go fast," he said.

He, Sholeh, and the residents were surprised by this finding. From the advice given by the residents, this finding should be reported to the village apparatus and the police.
"This morning the village apparatus, the Environmental Service and the police reviewed my well and took a sample," he explained.
